Fostering Positive Change for Kids Inc Post-Secondary Education Stipend
To receive assistance for post-secondary education from Fostering Positive
Change for Kids Inc, students must meet the following criteria:
• Must be in foster care or have been in foster care for at least a 1-year
period over the age of 16. Exceptions will be considered on an
individual basis.
• Maintain a grade point average of 2.5 or higher at the conclusion of
each semester or academic year and remain free from academic
probation. Students must provide a copy of each semester’s grades.
• Display financial need. Students must apply and receive notification of
eligibility for federal and state grants, including the Chaffee grant.
Students must provide their financial aid report, if requested.
• Fostering Positive Change for Kids will not give out more than $1,000
per semester to any student. The amount provided may vary based on
the number of eligible students.
• Follow all local, state and federal laws
• Youth must maintain contact with a board member from Fostering
Positive Change for Kids to be able to continue to receive any type of
assistance through non-profit. This must be at a minimum of a phone
call at least 1x month.
